The data export will contain a sheet titled Subscription Data based on what you would see if you (select All under Date range to see your full subscription data):
The columns in Subscription Data should match what you can export from Stripe with the exception of some additional columns we've added to help calculate your metrics.
The additional columns are outlined on the right-hand side of the spreadsheet, with descriptions and formulas where applicable:
We also offer an option to color-code your Subscription Data rows based on each subscription's effective status for easier viewing.
Each metric is calculated using Excel formulas applied directly to the Subscription Data worksheet. Descriptions will also be provided for each formula:
You can use this to understand and verify our calculations performed on your Stripe data.
We'll be expanding on this export soon with spreadsheets that show how we use a combination of your current and past subscription data to calculate churn, conversion rates, changes to your revenue and more!
The goal of our revenue data exports is to provide absolute transparency to how we calculate your metrics and allow you to verify that the numbers we show are accurate for your business.
This spreadsheet will include all your revenue metrics that we use your to calculate.
If you notice something that seems off or you disagree with how we calculate a certain metric, please don't hesitate to reach out to us on or by emailing us at info@profitkit.io
